- Director Dr. Christian Kuhnt – Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival
Dr. Christian Kuhnt is the Director of the Schleswig-Holstein Musik Festival (SHMF). Since its inception in 1986, the SHMF has been among the most spectacular international cultural events in the world. Situated in the borderland between Denmark and Germany and with a special artistic focus on different international cities SHMF is well aware of its ability and commitment to connect people and regions across borders. This years festival is dedicated to the music of Istanbul.

Nordic Masterclass for Conductors (October 4th to October 9th
2025) is an initiative aiming to create opportunities for young conductors to develop through “practising their instrument”, under top level guidance by professor Jorma Panula and assistant teacher Maria Badstue.
